The Summer Retreat • June 12–14, 2026
A Retreat of Full Expression, Courageous Living, and Embodied Aliveness
June in the Willamette Valley gives itself completely to growth. The grasses have gone full and golden at the edges, the roses are breaking open in colors that seem almost too sincere to be real, and the farm hums with the confidence of things that have committed to becoming what they are. This is the season of fullness. The plants have has stopped negotiating with the soil and simply grown.
This retreat asks you to meet that energy in yourself.
Most of us have learned, through long practice, to make ourselves smaller than we are. We qualify our ideas before we speak them out loud and we give our gifts at a discount, as though full expression would be too much, too forward, or too presumptuous. We have confused modesty with wisdom and called our contraction humility.
The summer land has no patience for this. It’s in full expression, and inviting you to to do the same.
The Ripening is a retreat that teaches you to experience your full expression. It takes courage to step into who you already are and stop managing how much of yourself you allow into any room.
You’ll spend three days on living land, surrounded by the evidence of what grows when given the right conditions, held by facilitators who have done this work themselves, asking one honest question:what would you do, say, create, or become if you gave yourself full permission?
This retreat is for you if:
01
You are already in motion in your life and sense you are living at partial capacity.
02
You give generously to others and have quietly learned to give less of yourself to your own work and vision.
03
You feel the press of unexpressed potential and are ready to answer it rather than manage it.
04
You are a leader, creative, teacher, healer, or seeker who is ready to inhabit your life more fully.
What to Expect
The Ripening retreat moves through three days of embodied practice, land-based learning, creative expression, and communal presence. Every experience is designed to serve the same intention: to help you locate what in you is ready to grow and to give it room.
Breath work
to open what has been kept quiet and release habitual patterns of contraction.
Somatic movement
practices that work with the body's wisdom rather than the mind's agenda.
Learning sessions
drawing on the wisdom of the summer season as an organic teacher.
Evening Fire Circles
for the kind of honest, witnessed, unhurried conversation that rarely happens anywhere else.
Creative expression
sessions offered as a practice of allowing rather than producing, a low stakes encounter with the experience of letting an art endeavor move through without editing it first. All materials are provided, and every level of creative experience is welcome.
Land-based mindfulness
practices using the farm in its fullest summer expression as a mirror for your own life.
Farm-sourced meals
that are nourishing, communal, and unhurried.

10:00 am
Somatic release with Megan Moseley. A body-centered practice that works with the habitual patterns of contraction the morning has stirred.
