Saffire Bouchelion
movement facilitator and master musician
Saffire Bouchelion moves through the world as an Embodyologist, Rhythmatist, and Music/Movement Alchemist, sourcing love, joy, and healing into everything he touches. Whether leading a class, facilitating a workshop, or stepping onto a stage, his commitment to service is unmistakable.
As a First Degree Nia Black Belt and Instructor, Saffire has brought his movement work to students and communities across 17 countries. His life in music runs equally deep. A professional percussionist, he has contributed to more than 50 recording projects and performed with bands that have shared stages with Sheryl Crow, the Crash Test Dummies, the Paul Winter Consort, and John Denver.
Rhythm, for Saffire, is not simply sound. It is medicine. He holds weekly drumming sessions for groups and private students and carries that same philosophy into his work as a music therapist for hospice clients near the threshold of transition.
